I have restricted myself from commenting on the various elections that have been CONCLUDED in our home-land to let those organizing it do their best. My concern is as it AFFECTS NDI IGBO especially the Gubernatorial Elections. As it stands APGA has Anambara State as their election was a year or so ago,. PDP has Abia, APC has Imo and I think PDP also has Enugu. You can fill up with those of Ebonyi, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and others that I am not sure of their winners. As you can read, the Three Major political parties of APGA, APC & PDP is in control of one Igbo State or the other.
It is now time for the Governors of all these IGBO STATES to FORM an alliance irrespective of political affiliation MAKA ODINMA UMU IGBO HO..HA... As you were witnesses and also read through the internet, our Igbo Leaders at home opted to vote for a political party for the presidency that lost. At least one Igbo state has a Governor from the Federal Ruling party. Others should rally around him as a way of reaching the President-Elect when he takes office. I read of one Victor Umeh who I have been made to understand is the Leader of a FACTION of APGA in Anambara State trying to mess with the result in ABIA State. He should be told to stick with his "Anambara APGA.". UMU IGBO, please don't misunderstand me.
I love the idea of 'REAL APGA' winning in any election, but the 'REAL APGA' nwuru mgbe the Founder of APGA, Chief Chekwas Okorie was DRIVEN from APGA and also oge Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu nwuru. Remember, oge the "REAL APGA" was in EXISTENCE, Orji Uzo Kalu won the Governorship of Abia State but switched to PDP, Gov. Okorocha who is now enjoying his 3rd Party switch also won with APGA but switched to PDP and now APC.
I have to kpupurula this Okorocha okpu nihi na he knows when to SWITCH & WIN. CONGRATULATIONS TO HIM. Remember the Former APGA Governor of Anambara state,Mr. Peter Obi. After ENJOYING his years under the platform of APGA and could not run again because of term limit, what did he do?. HE SWITCHED TO PDP and ABANDONED APGA that 'buttered' his bread. When the "REAL APGA" comes back, the Party can win ELECTIONS not only in ANAMBARA State but other States na Ala Igbo and other parts of the Federation. Ogwula ka oha m n'onu.
